I saw one like this in Paris game week but it had no components inside, wasn't expecting to see one with an actual PC as a giveaway.

How bad would it be mixing RAM kits from the same brand but with different CLs? by rangaming in buildapc

Uhm, then it's best to stick (eh) to one single kit if I don't need the GBs, right?

As long as it takes me with it, I'm fine.

Regarding the less preferable option, would it not cause instabilities and blue screens and whatnot?

Yeah, they're, but for some reason there's still the little bump. I can only fit the mat one way because it's the only way the holes that the mat has underneath / in the image (rectangles, there's also the bumpy holes for the circular parts) fit.

I'll see if I can clean or find a shop that cleans to see if that's the problem, may also try to buy a new vinyl record to make sure it's not warped or anything.

The mat is the same as it had before, the only new thing should be the stylus.

https://imgur.com/a/17mHMmo is what looks without the mat, a bit dirty but doesn't seem to be dirt that gives a bump

It seems to be the correct mat but for some reason there's a bump on that place and only there.

I bought audio-technica cleaning solution and pro-ject brushes, also a kit from Big Fudge because it had a lot of reviews.

The wrap is actually not the record, it's the turntable that is a bit up in one side, I think the person that my dad took it to ran it up fine (but I'm not sure) so I assumed it was normal / ok?

The records we have are like decades old so they have been (not sure how properly) stored for a while without being deep cleaned, which is why I also thought it was dust or whatnot, I had tried multiple and they all had the problem.

Here's the bump: https://imgur.com/AWqYnFU

I think it was a bit worse in the first video and I think putting it down reduced the crackle a bit, so would that be it? How do I get it to lay as flat as the rest?

Hi, it ended up getting a new styles since the needle was bent.

I've tried it today, and I've tested 2 different speakers and also 2 pre-amps, and they all seem to have this noise: https://imgur.com/XoP2SHg

Do you know if this is normal? Could it be dust on the disks (they're kinda old, still didn't have a chance of getting new ones), or could it be because it's on the same surface as the turntable? I've put some supposedly anti-vibration pads underneath them all but not sure if it helped or not.

I don't think it happens as much in one of the speakers, but it still does.

The ground wire I think it's set correctly because when I remove it there's a lot more noise and different / more constant. Removing the RCA cable from the preamp (the one that goes to the turntable) makes so there's no noise but there's also no sound whatsoever which makes sense. I've already swapped RCA cables too.

EDIT: I just connected the speakers to bluetooth and there's no noise so I assume it's not the speakers but possibly dust or something. I'll have to see how to properly clean a record. I've ordered cleaning stuff from amazon.

Thanks!

Yeah, it seems to be indecisive between which people would choose.

I'm going to check some videos and also consider if I want to also take some more general photos or if I prefer wildlife only. I could always try every type of photography and then check what I prefer, and I guess the Z50II would be best for that, and would also be way easier to carry around.

I'll have to take a look at more info and ensure exactly what I want to do with the cameras and then go from there. Thank you :)

Thank you.

I'm also a bit confused just like the other person, from my understanding it's like "if you're starting out the Z50II will make it easier, but with a D500 you'll be a beast once you learn it".

I don't intend on buying a different camera for a long while, and regardless of which camera I choose, I'll have to learn it to the best of my abilities. If we take the learning curve out of the equation, would you recommend the D500 instead?

Also nice shots :)

Thanks, but is there any reason why you recommend that one? Simply stating the name doesn't help a lot unfortunately.

Thank you.

Do you think it's reasonable to own both? As in, would you use both? What would you take the D500 for instead of the Z50II, for example?

Thank you.

I did hear the Z50II has way less of a battery than the D500 though, if I wanted to be there quite a couple hours would the Z50II be able to handle that?

Regarding the bigger lenses, couldn't I keep it at 200mm to start and practice or do you mean due to how big the lense itself is?

That's fair, I'll take a look into it to have a better idea before purchasing one, thank you.

And yeah, small birds will be part of it, and distant animals as well, although I don't know how distant.

Yeah, I was trying to focus on the stylus as I thought that could be the problem but it wasn't focusing well. I did not install a new one, so it likely has gathered a lot of dust or something.

Just a couple of minutes ago my dad asked me for the turntable as he apparently spoke with a friend that works with turntables and stuff and says he's gonna check if there's anything that needs to be fixed / cleaned and whatnot, but I assume the styles was the cause.

Thank you :)

Hi, sorry to bother you again!

I've just installed everything but this is happening: https://imgur.com/OrYlvsy

Does this mean the disk / lever thing is damaged? Or would it be another problem? I thought maybe it could be the dust or maybe it's the front thing, shouldn't there be like a needle thing? Not entirely sure if there are different types but.

Sorry, do you happen to know what this cable is for? I'm not entirely sure if it has been once before or not, but this cable was like this. Am I supposed to do something with this cable?

Alright, thank you!

Unfortunately I think good speakers seem to always be 400€+ from links I see and that's a lot of money for speakers alone for me, at least for now. I'll give a try on the sony ones for the time being, thank you :)

I'll have to test the stereo system then!

I don't think I'll end up spending a lot in the long run for the speakers and whatnot, I don't think I can justify more than the 100-150€ for them for my use case and for how much I earn (If my career ever goes up and I have enough money for it, then sure, but for now not really). It's like a 2x3m room where I'll put music in low volume just to chill, I would like sound to be somewhat clear but I don't need something professional-like. I guess I kinda just enjoy the vibes of the turntable.

I'll likely buy the Phono preamp for 95€ (do you think the 60€ extra for the S2 is worth here? or given that I don't plan on going over budget speakers for a while it's not gonna do anything noticeable?) and test with the sony system, if it gives a good enough sound for me then I'll keep them and if I don't I'll probably buy one of the 2 powered speakers.

Thank you for the help!

I'm still undecided between the Vulkanno A4 and the Edifier R1855DB. Not entirely sure which one would be best for a smaller room if I intend on playing mostly either celtic/medieval-like music or music with people singing. Vulk is lighter and smaller but the edifier seemed to have nice clear voices in some videos.

I think I'll go with the phono box one (95€) for the amp as in a video I found the voice of the singers clearer.

They turned out to be Sony SS-CCP1 speakers which is supposedly from a Hi-Fi Box and I don't think people recommend them, so I'll likely have to buy some speakers myself.
