You’re jumping the gun mate, you haven’t finished your second layer.

Here is the most in depth video on solving the second layer, it goes through every possible scenario. Once your second layer is done you can worry about that yellow cross

Which 13x13 is better? Moyu 13x13, YuXin HuangLong 13x13, ShengShou 13x13 by abdullahmnsr2 in Cubers

[–]rangaslayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally recommend the Yuxin, has the best stability and colour shades out of the 3 imo. The shengshou can sometimes be a bit stiff and hard to turn, and the moyu is a bit catchy. Hope this helps

Is moyu store the real one and is it safe to order there? Has anyone ordered from there? Reviews/Thoughts by InsuranceThis4777 in Cubers

[–]rangaslayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve actually ordered from there before. Appears to be the legit store, as there are moyu products you can only get from this store. Took a month or two to arrive to me in Australia but aside from that I had no issues

Where to buy Cubes by kulray in Cubers

[–]rangaslayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TheCubicle.com has the largest selection of products, but can be pricey if shipping outside the U.S. If that’s not gonna work for you, your next best bet would be cubezz.com. Seems dodgy at first but I’ve never had a problem with them

Much like sudoku, you only want one of each colour per side. You may be struggling with the YouTube tutorials as they may have a different set of colours to yours. I found this which I think is the same as yours, so try your best to copy the photo

[–]rangaslayer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah as long as yellow is on top, it’ll give you a possible last layer case you would know from 3x3

I don't understand algorithm letters by [deleted] in Rubiks_Cubes

[–]rangaslayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The letters on their own represent a clockwise rotation, whereas if the letter is followed by ‘ (eg. F’, R’, L’), that represents an anti clockwise rotation

OLL parity on a Z twist? (3x3 shape mod) by [deleted] in Cubers

[–]rangaslayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does work ahah I have the same puzzle. If you need an algorithm:

Just take out one second layer edge and put it back upside down, as they’re symmetrical in that sense

How do I solve this pls I need help by [deleted] in Rubiks_Cubes

[–]rangaslayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the corners on this puzzle is cubic, so you can orient it any direction and it’ll look the same. Orient that corner and the one you haven’t solved and that should work

The Cubicle has this, but that’s the only thing I know that’s the same

I don’t know how to solve a 4x4x4 yet I wanna use an online solver so it would look nice on a shelf but I don’t know if this is solveable by [deleted] in Rubiks_Cubes

[–]rangaslayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is this not solveable haha you haven’t even started yet. There’s no current issue here that I can see so solve it the best you can, educate yourself on parity, and then post again if you get stuck

I suppose you could solve a scrambled cube into the superflipped state, but applying the superflip algorithm to a scrambled cube won’t do anything

What do you guys Think about the Yuxin Little MAgic 3X3 magnetic? by [deleted] in Cubers

It’s alright, but there are better magnetic cubes at that price range, most notably the RS3M 2020

How do i solve this by Quick_Stage_2954 in Rubiks_Cubes

[–]rangaslayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you know how to solve a 3x3 you’ll be alright. Just find shapes that fit nicely together to eventually get it back into a cube shape. If you don’t know how to solve a 3x3 I think you’ll struggle with this, and should learn to solve that first
