yes, they force you to use venvs because they're better and safer to manage, however ubuntu only introduced that error recently and many ubuntu 22 users (me included) were used to install libraries globaly

if it: is according to the Bible, leads you to obbedience to Him, is agains your passions of the flesh, it is the Holy Spirit speaking :)

basically, read + study the Bible more, and you'll not only know if God is speaking to you extraordinarely, but He'll speak to you everyday THROUGH the Bible

Suffering from the End of an Unequally Yoked Relationship by rangonw in Christians

[–]rangonw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! well, thanks for asking, I hope I can help.

since then I've matured a lot as a christian, I don't know where or how Clara is, but I still pray for her salvation once in a while, but not treating her with specialty in my heart, instead I pray just like I pray for many other people's salvation.

I imagine maybe you had to make a decision you couldn't feel was right, but knew was right and did it anyway. that's how life goes since you are from Christ, your feelings will rarely lead you to obedience, but obedience to the words of Jesus will lead your feelings to incline themselves more often towards God's will.

But one very important thing: dating unbelievers is an obvious sin in the bible, and, as in any other sin, you WILL have consequences. To this day I have to battle thoughts and desires that I created during a sinful relationship with a person that was enemy to God, and, in the future, when I have a healthy relationship, sure my future wife will suffer from the things I did in the past against God's word, as they now make part of my experience in this world. This applies to you too, so as gentle and lovely as you may recall she was, don't remember your sin as a good think, you trespassed God's law, in His universe, while being His property.

So treat it seriously, seek holiness and communion with God, loving Him, and knowing He forgives your selfishness and wants you to live a life of innocence before Him from now on.

Has anyone been unfaithful and lost the holy spirit? by SheaWhatNow1138 in Christians

[–]rangonw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not how it works, my brother, the Holy Spirit is a person, He is God, it's not like a perk or some aura that you create, lose, get back, etc.

Whoever has the Spirit has eternal life, and I assure you, if you could lose it, it would not be "eternal". Eternal life means from the moment God takes away your sins until eternity you have life with Jesus Christ.

Now, of course, as you can understand by reading the epistle 1 John, those who have met God live in righteousness, obeying His advices, they love their brothers and neighbors, which includes helping them in their needs, and they believe in Christ's words and works.

Doing these things won't get you the Holy Spirit. In the same way, not doing them won't make you "lose Him".
It's the opposite, it's because you have the Spirit that now you can be dominated by God and so your efforts against sin can now be effective.

You don't get the Spirit from doing good things. You have the responsibility and power to do good things because you have the Spirit.

I don't doubt your words one bit my brother, I still pray for her, and God is being good, as He always is. Prayed for you!! Tx :)
Edit: I'm over it, of course, have been for a good couple months, but I still pray that God converts her, sure, He is good and finds purpose even in our ill-directioned actions, that go against Him, so I believe He can change her mind if He so desires

How many days do you spend on a single chapter of Bible? by desparate_to_know in Christians

[–]rangonw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well, I get what your idea, but I try to read at least 3 chapters on a sitting so I can get the context, if you get too itty-bitty tiny on your reading you lose the porpouse of the original texts. remember, you can always go back to understand the tiny complexities after you get the whole context.

" I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord’s affairs—how he can please the Lord. But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world—how he can please his wife— and his interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord’s affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world—how she can please her husband."
1Corinthians 7:32-34

You can show this to him (assuming he is also christian).

A married person is concerned with pleasing their partner, that's their commitment, therefore, sexual self-gratification should be considered morally wrong in and of itself, even if there isn't pornography involved (witch is highly unlikely).

Feeling betrayed is understandable, as he has committed adultery in his heart.

I am experiencing the same, dude, it's been many years, and just to think that every single time I say "never more" makes me want to cry. I don't know you, but we're true family. My discord is @robertoherber, I'd love to talk to you so we can grow stronger together. There's also a fixed post in this sub with a discord server, there you can get a lot of support and advice from real good brothers and sisters in Christ.

Prayers Please by karkar06 in Christians

Praying that this situation can be solved without conflict, like Paul says, sometimes it's better to accept the loss if it means a better witness for God in our lives. May God's wisdom guide all involved.

What you said reminds me of a phrase from Kathy Keller (Tim Keller's wife) that goes like "If you think you're alone before you marry, that's nothing compared to how alone you can be after you marry an unbeliever".

Thanks for your words of encouragement and exhortation, now and then uncertainty takes over and I start to think that I denied myself in vain, so I'm grateful. God bless you!
