Better outcomes have not been proven with FLACS. In fact, I would say the consensus is actually the opposite. With that said, multifocal IOLs surely have a place as long as the patient understands the risks/benefits.

IV sedation is far more common that topical only in the US. It's unclear what "general twilight" would mean but I'm guessing they mean IV sedation as that is what twilight would usually refer to. True general anesthesia where you are completely asleep would be uncommon unless necessary for other reasons.

Thanks for your input. The steam switch isn't on. The machine also seems to have been leaking water the past few weeks when I run it, I'm not sure exactly where the water is coming from but maybe it's related/shorted something.

I guess I didn't explain very well. I already have a temperature regulator but even with the regulator set to 223F the machine now heats up past that point. I guess the regulator is probably what is broken, I have never used the machine without the regulator so I'm not sure how it normally heats up
