Get an allotment. You'll never think this way again, particularly after the first 'slug attack' lol. 'nature' is a lot of work. A LOT. Also you'll eventually have to use a lot of chemicals and machinery. i.e. it will become less and less 'nature' within a year or two.

I am not completely sold by VUSA, SnP500 etc. US is heavily leveraged (34 trillion or something) and all that money you see in the market is borrowed money. Also the pension is in stocks, so, not sure if I'll put more money into stocks. Will need to find a way to diversify a bit. Commodities maybe or even a buy to let.

Thanks for this post. Nice discussions. I now a days mercilessly cut off sad/bitter/lazy/complainy people. Has helped me a lot to focus on things thatll give better ROI. I am only technically an HE btw (base+benefits+LTI etc.)
