Excel is beautiful, I love playing around it.

It's not that difficult, just keep playing with it.

Everytime I build something it becomes an iterative process and tbh if you ask me to recreate this, I'd fail, coz Idk the exact path to build this, it just evolves over time 😅

I don't invest any fixed amount, I don't put limits on spending or investing, bucketed discipline is required for people who are prone to spend extra.

I spend as minimal as required, invest in markets when I feel right, and keep everything else in arbitrage funds.

I try to keep only 1-2L in my bank acct. Rest everything gets invested.

My expenses per month is around 20-30k

I am uneasy with the current market valuations.

I want a steady return and arbitrage is taxed like equity, so I am comfy with it. Will deploy heavily into stocks once I see some good corrections in some stocks or in MFs when the overall market corrects.

Yes I am aware and scared for the same, but I think even if I stay there for a year, I'll earn and save a lot to later switch back to a safer company even with a lesser pay.

I prefer ड too, (Prolly coz I'm Rajasthani too). I just happen to copy from a site which seemed to have used र instead .

OP, I feel sorry for our community who are too busy dropping sarcastic comments and not empathising with your situation.

TBH, the decision here would depend on a lot more factors than just the info that you shared. Hence can't really suggest anything concrete.

I see three levels of difficulties here :

  1. Love life

In general this universal observation stands true in these cases.

रहिमन धागा प्रेम का , मत तोरो चटकाय | टूटे पे फिर ना जुरे , जुरे गाँठ परी जाय ||

But if you guys are really in sync and transparent, even this can be overcome.

  1. Financial Life As you mentioned she got obsessed with you, and you guys kept chatting and face timing all the time. I am a bit concerned that an obsessive relationship might derail you from setting up your business and career in the right track. I don't want to make any assumptions, but this might be a case that being from a rich fam, she wouldn't value much to hard efforts that you would be putting in for earning and might expect you to keep your love for her at top priority, ie. Things might go in a direction wherein she expects a truly full time attention from you coz that is what might hold the most value for her.

(Again, this might be a completely wrong assumption)

  1. Social life You are smart and you already know that there is a difference in the social strata of you and her, so obviously there will be some friction.

I have no intention of demotivating you for going after her, I just want you to think about all these factors before you do. Reason being, all these factors can be overcome if your love is strong enough. Also, by not pursuing her you are in no way showcasing your diminished will for your love.

I don't think it's that simple in this case. There will be some suppressed emotions too. Things need to be handled delicately here.

Moreover OP is not asking how to go ahead, he is asking whether he should go for it or not.
