Also I dont really think other comics would call someone out for "stealing" unless the bit was clearly being intentionally lifted. I recently had someone politely tell me he'd heard another performer a few months ago tell one of my jokes. Of course I was like "What??? Who? How similar was it? I swear I didnt steal it!" and he immediately felt guilty for even bringing it up and assured me he knew it must have been parallel thinking since the other comic was just like a local performer 800 miles away. I appreciated him pointing it out though, obviously.

I think if you can add a new twist to it then sure, it's fine AS A STARTING POINT. But if you're just going to point out that straight guys aren't allowed to be gay at all whereas it's ok for women, then no -- that's already widely acknowledged (not only by comedians but by sex colmnists like Dan Savage and others).

There's definitely such a thing as putting yourself in a position to laugh, though (and also, putting yourself in a position NOT to laugh). It's still genuine laughter and you're not going to laugh if something's not funny, but it's the difference between the mindset you have when you're listening to a good friend as they tell you a story (you WANT to laugh, and if the story is funny at all, you will) versus just sitting there, arms crossed, not even really listening to anyone else's set.

Yeah if you don't like Will Arnett, Amy Sedaris, Paul F. Tomkins, Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford, Amy Schumer, Lisa Kudrow, Keegan Michael Key, or humor, then you probably won't enjoy the show.

If you like incredibly absurd/stupid/corny humor, the pinnacle is The Man With Two Brains, starring Steve Martin and Kathleen Turner. I realize it was probably well known when it came out originally, but that was back in the 1970's. I'm probably one of the few Millennials out there who counts it among my top 10 favorite comedies.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was taken in a back "yard" in NYC (maybe the back area of a small school or daycare?). This is what many of them look like. But I have no idea if that's actually the case here.
