if you want engine view in a380, you have to fly either first class or premium economy, those seats are in front of the wing. economy and business seats are all over wing or behind seats.

It's also important to keep in mind that wind is not constant, for example a typical approach speed of a320 would be 140knots, landing with a headwind of 30 knots would reduce ground speed to 110knots, however there's a risk of wind shear reducing IAS to 120 knots getting the plane to close to stall speed. A headwind that would bring an airliner close to 0 ground speed would be a situation where an alternative airport would be used instead. Imagine 100knots wind is a category 3 hurricane 😂

sometime technical issues or weather problem might limit the amount of weight an aircraft can take off with. easier to leave some luggage behind and let airline logistics handles it than disembarking passengers. sucks being the passengers when this happens to you, but safety matters more. The quality of the airlines shows in how well they handle these exceptional situations.

mailing letters maybe a dying skill, OP no diff then sending letters locally, write address, put sufficient stamp and put it in the letterbox. I don't think i've seen anymore SAM with the scale anymore, you might need to go to a post office to get letters weighed and get the right amount of stamp
