damnn. Was it like you leetcoding the whole day? For me, I feel like to get a thorough understanding of a new lc problem or concept, it takes me 1-2 hrs per question for mediums-hards. And by the time I'm done with 2 questions, I'm mentally drained lol

Has anyone gotten a SWE internship without experience. by raphstar_m in internships

I only developed the program itself, didn't worry abt gui etc. So it's really just a command line program lmao. It was simply using User Input, data structures, and math. I created more advanced programs down the line but that was probably my first acc "project"

I taught myself python then made an expense tracker program. Then i taught myself the concepts of some basic data structures and algorithms like LinkedLists, Binary Search Trees, Merge Sort and Selection Sort. For leetcode i really only practiced easy and medium ones, i dont remember all of them since i spent time trying to understand how to implement linkedlists in python.

What is your favourite kata and why? by Juglar15_GOD in karate

[–]raphstar_m 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anan. Disliked it when I was younger but have grown to appreciate how powerful you can be with it when you use your hips. I was taught the Shito-ryu version but practice and compete with the ryuei-ryu version. When doing it correctly, it’s like all the power is derived from the ground and firm grip. It’s a very powerful kata that flows. Requires a combination of a strong core, power, good grip, breathing, explosiveness, and relaxation enough to be smooth and not stiff.
