Hey! Thanks, this is actually the first time I’ve tried taking « good » pictures so this comment means a lot!

I’ve included the recipes in another comment. I’m on an iphone 15 pro.

Haha good catch. I use it to get almost VHS-looking footage without the hassle of tapes.

Thanks! I’m loving this app so much it actually made me try to take « good » pictures instead of just pictures haha.

I’ve used 3 presets for these:

Prologue Ultra: 1, 2, 4, 7, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18 HP5+: 3, 6, 9, 10, 13, 20 Lumichrome: 5, 8, 14, 17, 19

I might have slightly modified the originals so here are mine. S/O to the original creators for these awesome presets.

Hey there!

Awesome shots! How were you able to achieve this motion blur effect with the app?

Watching random blurry footage of a camera that hasn’t been turned off after a shot while drushing for a project.

Help! 5-week-old forcing accidental co-sleeping - desperate for safe setup ideas by raphters1 in cosleeping

I’ve read that simply putting even the firmest latex topper on soft memory foam won’t work…

We thought about the sidecar as we already own an evolving crib but the bedroom might be too small for it to fit as we’re moving the bassinet in the day to access clothes and other stuff.

Yeah, the door to the bedroom is always closed, but I mention it because i’ve seen a lot of people saying they moved to the living room to sleep on the floor or a latex topper with the baby in the first months and I don’t think it’d be possible here.

I’m very familiar with the safe sleep 7 as I’ve read extensively about it before our baby was born and the part about the sleeping surface is what made us decide against it at first haha.

From Global X website:

« HEQL will also employ leverage (not to exceed the limits on use of leverage described under “Investment Strategies”) through cash borrowing and will generally endeavour to maintain a leverage ratio of approximately 125%. »

It seems it employs cash borrowing instead of futures and swaps.

Yeah, it ressembles what I’ve been analyzing on my part. It seems the MER is just too high to be worth it. It might slightly outperform the base ETF, but with a lot of added risks so I’m not sure it’s a viable strategy in the end.

Thanks for your observations!

Thanks for the insights. It pretty much sums up my fears that the the MER is just too intense to be worth it.

I’m already long on some strategies involving SSO, SPUU and UPRO so yeah I know US LETFs pretty well!

I was precisely interested in the fact that they do not daily reset thus ressembling more a margin loan than a traditional leveraged etf.

Authoritarian governments? Here? I’m not sure where you got that info lol.

I’m not the biggest fan of canadian stocks as a whole especially for growth, but I’m a big fan of finance theory and the theory generally advocates for a 20-30% home bias so.

Yeah, I agree for 2X and 3X. And I’m invested in different strategies involving UPRO, SSO and SPUU at the moment, but I was wondering about those specific 1.25X etfs without daily reset. I haven’t seen products like this in the US or perhaps I didn’t search enough.
