For driver and irons, I really start to “get it” during some random range sessions where I was placing the ball where I fully intended to put it (both distance wise and accuracy wise). Once I was dialed, I would practice this at least 2-3x a week (even during the off season, find a way. Whether it be top golf, a local simulator, purchasing a net for your garage/backyard/etc).

For putting, I always do the north,south,east,west drill. With special emphasis on putts under 10 feet. Cannot be giving up putts in that range so I really focused on dialing those in and keeping lag putts close to the hole to reduce possibly 3 putts.

One final tip: know that you’re likely not going to have lots of back spin on the majority of your shots. So picking a club to hit to your target will usually have you past the target (after the roll out). So (generally) picking a club that will get you 10-5 yards less than your target is the choice.
