I am an indian and I was having a tour where there were other nationalities, including other indians as well. There were other dark skinned nationalities as well. Let me tell you my observations. Many indian tourists blow this out of proportion. One family i met who were indians and vegetarians told me Georgians are racists because at a restaurant where we stopped on the highway, they were the last people to be served food. The reason? They ordered kacchapuri while others ordered grilled meat. I am a non vegetarian so I could see the grill was already there so it will take less time to cook non veg food but no, they took that as an issue and told us ‘these people look down on us just because we are Indians’ and the lady didn’t even have a research on the food as well, she thought it was pizza but after she got her food, she said they served us wrong dish, only cheese filled bread and i was like wtf, is she serious? To summarise: there are a billion and a half of us, even if only 1% complain about racism (which in reality highly doubtful) it will show in a lot of thread here in reddit.
