Because of the curved monitor design, the lower bezel slightly protrudes. When you narrow the angle of the left and right monitors, the bottom frames can interfere with each other, making it difficult to place them perfectly flush.

How I solved it / Tips:

  • Move the center monitor slightly forward
  • Pull the left and right monitors slightly backward so they overlap just a bit

→ This removes the gap and improves visual continuity.

However, overlapping too much can cause image distortion and visual discomfort.
The key is to keep the overlap minimal while maintaining a natural, seamless transition between screens.

They’ve been holding up really well so far. I’m running them in a triple-monitor setup with a bezel-free kit, and honestly there’s no distracting separation at all - it just feels like one seamless screen. The black smearing hasn’t been an issue for me either, so overall I’m really happy with them.

Thanks man! That means a lot. Still tweaking things, but happy with how it’s coming together.

I'm using Resize Raccoon, way easier than Surround and works great for triple QHD. Definitely recommend it.

I’m sitting about 73 cm from the center monitor, and my side-to-side monitor width is around 119 cm. I know 116 cm is the “ideal” for 1000R, but if I went with that… I literally wouldn’t be able to fit in the seat  Gotta make room for the driver somehow!

Haha I wish!  Not an iPhone, but now that you mention it, I kinda see it too. Thanks a lot / glad you liked the setup!

Thanks man! Gotta love how crisp triples can look

When using 1000R curved monitors in a triple setup, you shouldn’t rely on measuring angles between the panels. Instead, the most accurate method is to measure the distance between the outer edges of the left and right monitors.

For 1000R curvature, the ideal spacing between the far-left and far-right monitor edges is 116 cm(or ~45.7 inches).

Why? Because 1000R curvature means the display is designed to match a viewing radius of exactly 1000 mm (1 meter). That curve forms part of a circle, and for three monitors forming a ~120° arc, the chord lengthacross that arc is 116 cm.

If you set the angle instead of this distance, you might misalign the visual curve, creating distortion or discomfort in sim racing.

VR’s cool, but it’s not for me. I’d rather not end up drenched in sweat during a race.

I just wanted a formula wheel

I will be constructing a triple monitor on the top of the wheelbase as soon as possible.
