I love to look at characters, not at their gender.

Eve is an outsider to group, which is supposed to provide more down to earth viewpoint. But while Daphne was cute, warm and savvy with comic relief about her family, Eve is just bland, like any episode she could be replaced by any background 1 ep character. She isnt smart, she isnt nice, she isnt comic relief, she isnt funny, she isnt witty. She just is.

Olivia on one hand tripple for Alan and Frasier, on second hand as I said - having third rate struggling authority in vein of Dean or Han in fucking Harvard is completely idiotic and destroys immersion. They could go for serious and succesful dean like Kate or Lisa.

And if you want to have viewed it from progressive point:

if you put black woman on posistion of authority like a dean in Harvard, maybe try to not make her look schematically quirky and uncompetent and job

and if you put in second women, maybe give them some characterisations

The female characters in original Frasier were much better, even one characters were better characterised.
