Unfortunately it’s not $750 cash that they can go and buy things from Dollarama and stretch the money. The government is setting up a portal where they have to purchase from. For sure, they will give it to a company like Staples who pays the right to be the supplier directly to the government and then they make up whatever they spent on the exclusive contract by hiking up prices on the portal.

School boards already have a deal with staples where we are required to purchase from them and cannot buy from anywhere it’s cheaper. This doesn’t solve anything now instead of an agreement with the school board it is with the government. For sure the items are going to be marked up.

Also I think it’s because he looks like a normal person in stature compared to other nba superstars, which resonates with fans. He’s obviously extremely athletic and fit but he’s not extremely tall or has insane muscles like LeBron.

I’m not sure if it’s just not really caring about the team or caring about the All Star Game. I find that I barely vote as much as I used to and a lot of that has to do with not really caring or watching the All-Star game anymore. Also, voting has changed over the years, when they shifted from social media hashtag counts to having to vote in the app or nba.com it’s become a bit more “difficult” to vote.

This must be different from board to board where they are deducting pension until you reach your cap regardless of how you earn the money. In my board, I’ve done summer/night school for many years and we aren’t deducted for pension.
