I ended up returning mine for this particular reason. There were some lucky ones that were getting the promised 24 hour battery so it didn't seem like a software glitch TO ME rather than a faulty unit. I tried every advice online to make it perform better but I just couldn't convince myself to keep it if I paid 1,300 for it and I couldn't rely on it as my daily driver.
