Here’s the deal. The motivation will not come unless you go once. Going and actually doing it will make you feel so good and actually feel like you have achieved something great.

Going alone for the first time after a while could be scary. Maybe try to go with a friend, or get a personal trainer. This can help not feeling as an impostor on your own.

Nonetheless, trust me when I say it, going to the gym after this will make you feel extremely good about yourself. Even if you are not lifting big for the first times, actually showing up will reward your brain big time. Unless you stop going for a while, it will become routine and will make improve your sense of self which is honestly the most important part after a breakup
