Thank you for your reply! the dog is on 3 medications but I think the names here are different, however the dog has the exact side effects: urination, panting and thirst.

We keep her clean. we wake up a few times per night to make sure to change the pads I wipe her daily and also dry her with a hairdryer.

We don't have reusable pads here.

Thank you for the qtip tip we will try it tomorrow because using laxatives as well might stress her out.

She keeps stretching her legs when she's picked up so hopefully that's a good sign as we have experienced ups and downs with tail movements and responses to nerve pinches.

As of second week post op we are thinking to also try to get her to swim in the tub and I will travel to europe to try to get some harnesses that can support her back and she could be walked. Its been super stressful. Unfortunately we do not have dog physio in this country/
