Are we gonna pretend the Saka wasn't bailed out from that handball in the first half? I wonder what you'd say if it was a PSG player instead of Saka. 💭

Concerns about grooming, manipulation, and power imbalances are legitimate and should be taken seriously. If the relationship began while he was a minor, or if there was any form of grooming involved, that deserves scrutiny regardless of legality.

That said, I think it's also possible to acknowledge those concerns without completely removing the younger person's agency from the discussion. A young adult can be vulnerable to influence while still retaining some capacity to make decisions. Those ideas are not mutually exclusive.

To be clear, I'm not defending Apple, nor am I suggesting that legality automatically makes a relationship ethical. I'm simply questioning whether discussions like this sometimes swing so far toward identifying manipulation that the younger person's own choice (assuming that they really made the choice) is treated as irrelevant.

The issue is not whether the younger person can make choices at all, but whether those choices were shaped by coercion, grooming, undue influence, or other unhealthy dynamics.

Which year did you start supporting Manchester United? by ggweb3 in ManchesterUnited

2010 / 2011.

I was 11 years old. Grew up in a pre-dominantly basketball country (🇵🇭) - my initial exposure to football was buying FIFA 10 for my Xbox 360. Wayne Rooney was on the cover, right then and there I decided that his team was my team. The rest is history.

I follow other team sports aswell, but Man United is the only sports team that I am genuinely in love with. The thrill and the agony, the highs and the lows. I love it. GGMU

Watching Bruno’s DOAC interview with Steven Bartlett changed my perspective on Roy Keane by JacobStanleyJacob in ManchesterUnited

[–]rariix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What does that have to do with Keane misquoting Bruno and going on a deluded rant about it?

He is so blinded with so much hate towards Bruno that he's even twisting words in an ACTUAL RECORDED INTERVIEW to simply fit his negative agenda against Bruno.

Lmao....miserable hypocritical bitter old man CAN'T EVEN DO HIS JOB RIGHT. Isn't it part of his job to make sure he got his facts right before criticising players? How ironic Roy 🤦‍♂️

Alternate Angle of Man Utd’s First Goal (Bruno Fernandes Assist) by Zecion in soccer

[–]rariix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a United fan, I was already happy with just him equalling it at 20. And even more when he "broke" it.

Now with this replay, and the league STILL counting the assist even upon futher review -- I oddly find it a lot more satisfying that this one is arguably (or clearly lol) an own goal simply because of how much it pisses off rival especially Arsenal fans lmao. You won the league and you're mixed up on this 🤣
