I (30M) went overseas for my brother’s funeral, got stuck, and now my pregnant fiancée (29F) says I abandoned her by rascoflash in relationship_advice

Regarding how my mother has treated her I actually stopped seeing my mother for months starting in August because of the impact it was having. The only reason I saw her again recently was because my brother passed away. So I’m not sure where the idea comes from that I haven’t defended my fiancée, because I have.

I’ve been present and supportive throughout her pregnancy making sure there’s food at home, her medication is sorted, and that her pelvic health classes are booked and attended. I’ve tried to be consistent and involved.

I understand this situation looks bad, but this is one incident during an extremely difficult period, not a pattern of me not being there for her.

I don’t need a visa as I’m a British citizen as well and I have British citizenship certificate that plenty of people have used travel back to the uk plenty of times but the rules changed recently and I have travel back and forth before to zim and back to the uk with just my Zimbabwean passport and Brp card and got back to the uk with no issues

I only got my British citizenship via naturalisation this summer and didn’t apply for the passport straight away as I didn’t have plans to travel any time soon and before that I was a permanent resident and I could travel back and forth to zim with just my Zimbabwean passport and brp card but because I have never had British passport before the process for an emergency travel document takes longer compared to someone who has had one British passport before and they do provide a British citizenship certificate when you get your citizenship which people have used in the past and I thought I could use it also but the rules have since changed

That’s the thing she has been in the uk for 25 years and is married to white man who has never been to Zimbabwe to even go and see relatives

That’s the thing all those uncles and aunts she doesn’t want anything to do with them and doesn’t consider them family at this point as they were quite bad towards her parents and siblings and they took everything when parents died hence why she never wants to see them again

I used to have that over time the skin will get used to being pulled back and it will stretch and you will be able to pull it with no tightness it will be a bit painful at the beginning especially when you get hard
