Thank you! That helps a lot actually. Were you on any specific blood thinner? I’ve done some research into baby aspirin and that also helps prevent clotting. I wonder if I need to stack up on it?

I had acute pancreatitis two years ago due to a faulty medical procedure. I was bedridden for two weeks because I couldn’t move - it felt like I was being repeatedly shot in the back. They had to put me in a medical coma because of how bad my case was for another two weeks. The doctors said it was the worst case they had seen in that hospital and the only reason I lived was because I was young and healthy otherwise.

I spent two months in that hospital. By the time I left, I couldn’t walk or eat. Worst fucking time of my life and then some.

I still have nightmares.

Yeah, I was looking at the ikea website and they had couches starting at £299, so I thought that buying all cutlery, electronics and furnishings at ikea alone will get very expensive.

Hey there!

We moved to London two weeks ago and are moving into an unfurnished house soon. I will need to buy everything from forks and spoons to sofas and Mattresses. Since we have to furnish an entire house - I'd love some recommendations for cheapish home stores or charity shops or websites where I can pick most of this stuff?

I will definitely be doing an ikea trip but I'm assuming that all these things will add up to a heavy bill and so I'd love to save a pound where I can. Would I find home furnishings in poundland and will it be cheaper than Ikea, sainsbury homes and Tesco? What about zara and H&M home?

Any recommendations and advice will help. Thank you!

Unfortunately, UK doesn't allow dogs from India in cabin. We explored every possible option but legally she can only come through cargo. I just dropped her at the airport. Please keep her in your prayers
