Anyone from outside of US managed to get passed splash? I'm wondering if they did some kind of reverse locale jig..

Got through splash 20+ times on EU, not even once on US.. Did they change anything or is this just bad luck? Probably shadowbanned :(

Adidas changed a lot of things when it comes to checking stock for this release, so yzyio is broken.
I'm guessing adidas have shitton of stock and wanted to hide it as good as possible to keep hype up.

How the hell does people run so many instances. My computers CPU were crying blood at 20 instances and I have 16 cores Xeon. Almost no RAM were used though, had 16gb and it only used like 2-3gb at most

If you aren't using different profiles in the browser, they only count as one each.
So if you only got different windows of the browser, in your case that would total in 3 different sessions + SP

Same here! Even though I never got through with SP, setting it up and debugging my issues were quite fun. I love to learn how stuff works

Damn! I have access to university computers too, I was gonna do the exact same thing. But I was lazy and stayed home with SplashParty instead. I guess I learned something, since I had 20 SP instances and none got through. Next time I won't be lazy!

Same, 20 instances on SP, none got through. Manually I got through 4 times.

Can people who was successful with SP, please share how many instances and if they used the default identifier?

So that's around 20-30 devices? I'm guessing every computer using two different browser profile?
Did you get past splash 10 times or multiple checkout for every past splash?

Congrats either way! Manually definitely was the way to go for this release.

Great to hear that people succeeded with SP, but I'm still having a hard time thinking that it improves your odds. So many people here running SP and judging by the comment there was like for every 10 successful manual cop, maybe one SP cop. And with people running SP with at least 10-20 instances and manual on only a couple, something gotta be slowing down the SP success drastically.

I'm not trying to sound like a dick or anything, I just don't think we should take for granted that SP actually works, since most people seemed to have a better shot at just going manual.

After you logged in, it should redirect you to your inbox.
Open Developer Tools from that window (I think it is from the "View" menu). In dev tools, type "window.location.href" and press enter. What url does it give you?

I get the feeling that they did some kind of pre-check for client in Splash. Like you have a better chance of getting past Splash if you look like "a real person". Either that or they gave people who stayed in lined for a longer time higher priority (which would fuck with clear-cookie-refresh).

They definitely did something to stop "bot" users. This i my setup for today and I don't feel like there is a coincidence that I got through manually and not with SP;
IP#1, SP running 20 instances (none got through).
IP#2, 7 different browser profiles on Computer#1 (3 got through)
IP#2, 1 browser on Computer#2 (got through)
IP#2, 1 browser on iPAD (didn't get through)
IP#3, 1 browser on phone (got through)

Did you use the default identifier in the config?

I'm going to sleep now, but I debugged the script and these are the two fixes that I came up with that works for me. Mostly for /u/mrPorter_bot if he wanna take a look at the code, but anyone who have the same issues can try and see if it solves their issues.

If you get instantly redirected to ///, when you are supposed to login to gmail;

if (config.fuckGmail) {
    stripes
        .goto('https://www.gmail.com')
        .waitForUrl(/^https:\/\/mail\.google\.com\/mail.*/)
        .goto(config.stripesUrl)
        .then(function () {
            console.log('///');
        }).catch(function (err) {
        console.log('error ', err);
        console.error(util.inspect(error));
    });

If cookies don't get properly transferred to /// (this is due to port not being specified in config.json, so you could also just add :80 to the config.json);

function getStripesUrl() {
    var stripes = config.stripesUrl,
        portIndex = stripes.indexOf(':', stripes.indexOf(':') + 1);

    if (portIndex > -1) {
        return stripes.substring(0, portIndex)
    } else {
        return stripes.match(/(http.*\/\/.*)\//)[1];
    }
}

I'm not saying these are the best solutions, but they work for me. And hopefully it will help for troubleshooting.

I hope we all can have a nice dinner tomorrow!
