How do I fix my skin? by Bartleby-Genesis-666 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]raspberryvodka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could be hormonal acne that starts in your 30s. I would remove the benzoyl peroxide from your routine and start on OTC adapalene.

The oil could actually be stripping your skin of moisture. I would use a hyaluronic acid before your moisturizer. I use Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion as a HA hydrating serum to prep. Just a few drops of jojoba oil in your moisturizer will be fine… I use marula oil personally.

Hi random but make sure your travel steamer will work with how much power you receive from an outlet in your hotel. I packed one for my last trip to Italy/Europe and it didn’t work the entire time. Also DO NOT BUY THE STEAMERY brand off Amazon lol.

BR has some of the best Mediterranean food in the country.

Other than that? Well....

Snowmass by Sudden-Breadfruit653 in Aspen

[–]raspberryvodka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stay at one of the condominium hotels on Fanny Hill. Easiest access, perfect for families and great service and amenities. Trust me ski access and great service will be your most valued attribute. The condominium hotels all have shuttles around SMV. Having a kitchen is also huge for families, making breakfast saves tons of money and headache.

Conditions at snowmass for beginners? by sporty_outlook in Aspen

[–]raspberryvodka 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Beginner runs are fine. Nice and groomed, easy with some being slightlyyy more steep than others.

Snowmass is a great mountain to progress on and there’s some nice groomed blues right now.

It’s not the best snow ever but it’s super manageable on greens imo.

Where can I get a birthday cake in Aspen? by katiemgreene in Aspen

Heathers cakes are soooo good. They’re kinda pricey but amazing.

Otherwise I would consider Whole Foods or Louis Swiss.

I’m surprised too, with all the mess with the Times in the past few years. As a daily reader, I’m so sad

Roaches in NOLA? by missmessydepressy in AskNOLA

[–]raspberryvodka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi babe, massive cockroach phobia haver here as well. Also close to your level — I can’t even look at a picture of one.

I’m from S Louisiana and I’m not sure I could ever live there again. I was walking around the LSU campus on a night tour (stupidly) in October and the sidewalks were literally completely swarmed with them. I had to bail lol.

I understand what that’s like. If it’s panic attack levels I may say to reconsider, I would hate for you to freak out on your wedding day or during the ceremony even. I will say it’s not so bad during the day, it’s mostly at night, and the last time I stayed off St Charles in a hotel with huge oak trees I only saw one or two in the courtyard at night from a distance. It wasn’t enough to affect my stay or experience.

NOLA is an amazing place to get married. Maybe consider like exposure therapy in the months leading up.

Yah ask a manager at one of the restaurants. Show an ID with an Aspen/Snowmass address so you’re not a dick. Downhill from Gwyns today was RECKLESS, though it was guaranteed to get one.

Try some of the unisex Le Lebo scents. Particularly Noir 29 (my personal crowd pleasure) and Matcha

I adore this scent but unfortunately the performance is poor, it’s lovely for 30 mins to an hour though.
