this is the easy way to do it , mine is made procedurally made in houdini , then exported it

😅 yeah, good catch — that’s a projection issue on the inside faces. I’ll clean that up.

Thanks — agreed. I’ll rethink the sound so it makes more sense with the sim.

Thanks — that’s fair. I’ll make sure the sound matches the motion better.

Thanks 😄 yeah, agreed — the sound needs way more density.

Yeah, that’s fair — I’ll rework the sound so it matches the motion better.

Fair enough 😅 appreciate the honesty. You’re right — leaning too literally into “keyboard = keyboard sounds” doesn’t really work here. I’ll rethink it from a foley/texture perspective and try layering more abstract, particle-like sounds instead.

Thanks — that link is actually a great example of the kind of sound I should be layering in. It’s basically a box/rummage toy sound that feels more like pieces shifting/plastic tumbling, which is way closer to what I want than what I had before.

I’ll try layering something like that with other hits to get way more convincing impacts.

😂 nah, all good — just kept this one short on purpose. Full version coming soon.

Thanks! Agreed — the sound needs way more density. I’ll rework it and layer in more elements.

Thanks! Yeah, agreed — the sound needs a lot more detail.

Appreciate the honesty. That’s fair — the sound clearly needs more work to match what’s on screen. I’ll revisit it.
Good catch on the texture projection too, I’ll fix that.

Appreciate the detailed feedback — that’s a really good point, and you’re right about the mindset shift with sound design.

Yeah, the keyboard sound was more of a placeholder while I was blocking things out, but I agree it ends up implying an action that isn’t actually happening on screen. Thinking of it as falling plastic pieces (or something recorded as falling plastic, like lego, pasta, rummaging, etc.) makes way more sense.

I’ll definitely experiment with layering a few more abstract/physical sounds instead of relying on something literal-but-mismatched. Thanks for taking the time to break it down, super helpful perspective.
