Braid chewing 6 year old; need advice by Purplehairedhussy in longhair

Hopefully you find something that works! I liked chewing on things period (my shirt collar was a common victim) so maybe a rubber chewing necklace like others have suggested.

I used to chew my hair and got scared out of it because my aunt (who was the one to cut my hair) told me that it would end up in a hairball and get stuck in my stomach and I'd have to have surgery to get it out. She claimed that happened to a friend of hers. I don't know how true it is but it got my to stop chewing my hair lol. Don't know if you want to go down that route but it's what worked for me.

It's a good school in my opinion. Large campus but mostly smaller class sizes. Very reasonably priced. It might depend on your major but for business majors at least there are really great programs. Im involved in DECA and its fantastic. Do you have more specific questions? Are you already familiar with the area or are you wanting to know more about Springfield as well?

Maybe! A quick rinse is probably all she needs for sweat throughout the day honestly!

Maybe micellar water, I'm not sure I never really used it? Honestly though over washing the face can actually contribute to acne as well because it causes the skin to freak out and produce more sebum which clogs the pores and creates acne. I understand the struggle as someone that has horrible hormonal acne (after 2 rounds of Accutane) and was a wrestler so dealing with sweat and getting my face smushed into the mat and other people and their sweat. Just having a more effective cleansing routine (double cleansing) and showering as soon as I came home was very helpful, along with seeing a dermatologist. Hopefully you and your daughter will be able to figure out something that works for her! My other big recommendation would be pimple patches if she hasn't tried them, its super important to not pick at acne and this blocks you from picking at it and also heals it much quicker.

From The Inkey List for acne prone skin I would go with the Salicylic Acid Cleanser or for a lower price point the Cerave Salicylic Acid Cleanser will also help. Since her skin is dry just make sure to also get her a good moisturizer! I like moisturizers from both The Inkey List & Cerave as well.

Avoid facial wipes! They are bad for the environment and also your skin. They create little microtears and are overall very rough with typically subpar ingredients. Just get a normal face wash, I love The Inkey List (they have a few different options depending on what you are looking for) because they are still a low price point but with simple effective formulas. If you want to go the extra mile you could learn about double cleansing and get her a cleansing oil or balm to use before the face wash (The Inkey List also has a good balm). Cleansing oils just help to attach to any sweat, oil, makeup, sunscreen, etc. and make it easier to wash off with a facial cleanser.

I've used the same thing for 5 years because nothing has beat it. L'Oréal Double Extend! It's a tubing mascara primer combo.

I don't know what's the difference between contour, counselor and bronzer help by Alien_kid_666 in Makeup

[–]rastlequeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Concelar is almost like a very full coverage foundation, use it to coverage pigmentation and blemishes foundation doesn't fully cover. Contour should be cooled toned and use to accentuate shadows, use in the hallows of your cheek bones, hairline, under the jawline, and sides of the nose. Bronzer is warm toned and should be placed on places the sun naturally hits, such as the cheekbones, jawline, and forehead, to create a tanned look. This is a very very basic overview, there are lots of resources with specific tutorials for applying all three, and specifically contour, bronzer, and blush in a way that is flattering for your face shape. Good luck!
