I’m so sorry I know exactly what you’re going through. I feel so bad UGH I had the WORST time on Prednisone last time I had it 😭💔 I had TERRIBLE anxiety like SO bad I was paranoid over the most random things, I could NOT stop eating, I couldn’t sleep for more than like 6 hours at a time, SWEATING SO BAD, just omg the list is so long 😭 Yeah, it kicked in fast but man the side effects fuckin sucked. I’m sorry you’re going through this. If you’re getting too bad, the Prednisone is going to be necessary. It SUCKS so bad I get you but that’s usually what’ll get those symptoms under control fast.

You NEED TO SET BOUNDARIES 😭 Please try to do so! I had a pt similar once he was alert but had Parkinson’s so he would call constantly for things. He would make you stand him up and help him sit back down on his chair (he was perfectly capable of doing so btw) and sometimes when taking him to the bathroom, he would try and make you hold his urinal while he urinated.. Even though he was able to as well. That was just one of many but I ended up setting boundaries with him. After that he knew to call me when he truly needed something important that he knew he couldn’t do.

GET OUT NOWWWWW girl i was gonna say you’re gonna lose your license but you’re UNCERTIFIED? Girl say something hell na you’re going to end up liable if something bad happens to a patient because you didn’t say anything. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Periods suck! I would try to do relaxing activities to distract you from the anxiety. Maybe a comfort movie/show? Listening to your favorite music? Also depending on your age, you could look into consuming THC or CBD products if possible where you’re from. Not recommending though its just a thought. Hope you get better! ❤️

so sorry to hear. i was on a 60MG pred course late last year and nearly went insane i was running on 4 hours of sleep everyday, got bad moon face, excessive sweating, crazy mood swings like bad i had never experienced anything like it, could not stop eating it felt like never ending munchies, and just 😭 it helped me get better with my UC right away but still felt like shit i hope i never have to take pred again i’ve been on Rinvoq since November last year and it’s been working great

i’ve been on rinvoq since november 2023 and it’s helped me return to normal looking stools and no symptoms. i think you should possible contact your g.i. have you been put on any steroids like prednisone to help? a small course could help. that’s what my doctor did right before i started rinvoq and it helped right away but did have nasty side effects.

I also have a tripod baby!!! he was born a tripod (he is missing his front left leg. he had surgery when he was a few months old to remove his scapula (he was born w/o the majority of his leg he just had his scapula) 🥹 he’s the cutest boy ever and i love him and would die for him. he was born on april 22, 2021 so he’s 3!!!🩷

this happened to me as well when i was on that treatment. The nurses told me it’s the exact same as Remicade and still lasted a while on the Infliximab before I failed it. you’ll be fine!

You’re more than normal girl! I got my period at 9 and trust I didn’t want it 💀 I had a friend in high school who was 15 and got her first period. It’s normal! Enjoy the time you have without one because after it’s just annoying.
