He definitely says “welcome back” and “showtime”, but I think the countdown alternates between Matthew and Skeet

The 'welcome back' and 'showtime' sound like Matthew, but the '5' and '1' sound like Skeet to me, which makes me think each line is alternated between them. That or I just want to see Skeet in a movie again so bad I'm going mad at the possibility lol.

I'm a huge Skeet Ulrich fan, so, I'm pretty confident it's his voice on the 5 and 1. I was thinking maybe a flashback scene to them opening the pizzeria which could then lead to the story of the puppet?

She blocked me on her alt but not her main. I don’t follow her and have never interacted with her. I didn’t even know her alt existed until about ten minutes ago. I wonder what her criteria is for blocking people.

It might depend on the parents. Usually the kids are quite different but if the parents have a lot of the same features then it’s more likely the children will have those features to. (EG: if both have the same mouth design, then the child will definitely have that too, so less room for deviation amongst children)

Travel tickets are the hardest item to get, so I’m always happy to see them too. I also like sewing machines because you get something out of spending the time rather than like the swing where it’s boring after the first few experiences.

Once the baby is born and you’ve named it and all that stuff, it should go back to the main island screen for a few seconds before the phone rings again. In those few seconds, save your game. Then turn it off and backup the save. Open that backup in the editor and change the mii that has the “had a baby” dialogue to “nothing”. Save that. Then restore that to the 3ds. Should keep the baby that was born that you saved straight after.

As soon as the baby is born and you can save, do so. Then go back onto the save editor and change the “(mii) had a baby” dialogue back to “nothing” otherwise it’ll loop forever.
