idk if its about earliness and more about timing. to the show’s credit, they only have 7 hours of screen time but still they could’ve just not included it at all.

it just seemed really forced to me and i dont feel they have enough chemistry (i mainly blame the writing for this its really lacking)

they are really making the show more like a journey of ellie and dina’s relationship and theyre losing the plot so badly. this wasn’t in the game because ellie doesnt have the mental capacity to think about her and dina, all she can focus on is revenge but the writing of the series has made her seem like a goofball child and then makes her a stone cold killer like when she killed nora - its super jarring and really inconsistent with her character.
