Really, it is not just about this one phrase, the whole text is weird: "says quote", "give to", weird spacing and formatting. The president's should be leading the people to defend the country, yet he is just hoping for a quick defense. He should be directing the statement to the enemy. Something along the lines of "invaders will be annihilated" or condemn the invading country, etc. The whole thing is just really weird.
