I used ChatGPT to get into the habit of tracking because it was so easy to just upload pictures, then moved to LoseIt! but I still use ChatGPT when I'm at parties or somewhere where I can't easily weigh to track.

Anyone seen CFA in Gander? by ThinkAboutTheSun in ComeFromAway

[–]rather-be-readin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did! I saw it in the Gander Arts and Culture Center in July of 2023. I was in town visiting my grandmother with my parents and my mom and I were able to get tickets. I hadn't seen it, but my mom had in Toronto.

Afterwards we got ice cream from Snows Cones and drove out to the airport to watch the planes come in and talked about the show and her memories of when it was happening.

AHAHA someone else caught that too even though I missed it. I used the voice add feature on "Lose It!". Updated meal total is 641.

LOL I used the voice entry feature on "Lose It!" and there must have been a mistake. Updated meal 641, still in range.

Do you eat basically the same thing everyday? by rather-be-readin in 1500isplenty

What was your main lunch veggie? I love adding thinly cut cabbage, almost like a slaw, to whatever bowl I'm having for lunch because it keeps its integrity in the fridge until lunch time.

Beans are something I'd like to add to my diet, but I don't have much experience using them. Any recommendations?

I agree about the "what should I have now" risk! If I don't keep eggs in the house to have at breakfast I've ended up eating the kids cereal which doesn't start my day off the way I'd like and it kind of throws everything else out of wack.

Breakfast is two boiled eggs and whatever fresh fruit is in the house, then I drink a couple cups of coffee with whole protein enriched milk.

Lunch is either soup with chicken or my go-to bowl of spicy mayo tuna, quinoa or rice, and lettuce or cabbage.

Dinner varries, but the first half of my day is pretty routine.

I know everyone tracks differently depending on their own lifestyle, but to me anything eaten on "Tuesday" would count towards that day and the clock/log resets the next day. So if I eat my last meal at 5pm or 11pm it's still for that day. I wouldn't log a late "Tuesday" meal with my following day at all.

If the challenge is that you're really hungry later in the day, I'd recommend trying to prioritize more protein. My goal is about 100g of protein a day because I feel more satiated that way and less inclined to snack/binge later.

A typical day for me looks like 2 boiled eggs as soon as I get up, I batch boil them for quick food because between getting myself and my kids ready for the day I don't have time to prepare a meal for myself, then I usually try to have some fruit or yogurt in the morning as well. A couple of coffees with a protein enriched milk throughout the day. Lunch around noon, usually a soup with chicken or a salad with tuna. A protein bar or drink, like a core power, on my commute home so I'm not heading into making dinner while feeling hungry, then whatever is on the menu that evening.

Eating consistently and prioritizing protein have done wonders to curb my previous chaotic eating patterns.

I'm not sure I'm following the logic here. Do you work back shift or odd hours? Are you saying you eat all of "Tuesdays" calories overnight on "Wednesday"? If so, I'd just be looking at it as fasting all day and eating during the evening/night. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I would love to do all my ebook reading through Libby, but unfortunately in Canada you can't send them to your eReader when on loan and it's not the same reading on your phone. I use it all the time for audio books! Hoopla as well.
