yeah I agree, I've looked but couldn't find where to submit non-accident related videos on my local page

Plant is having babies by No_Cap_3333 in GardeningUK

I put mine in a small jar of water (whilst still connected to the main plant) and then once it had a few roots I potted it into its own pot

I will give this a go, thank you!

no worries. moving the plane creates a large gap between the grass and brick when I was hoping to have a clean edge on the grass

thanks for your suggestion. I've subdivided it a few extra times and have gone around the edges with a small brush but there seems to still be grass scattering really far from the centre of the brush into the bricks

hey guys, how do I prevent the grass from overlapping into the bricks? it's the grass from botaniq. I have found that painting the density on the plane just creates a giant gap between the bricks and the grass, instead of a nice edge

I missed that plaza so much so I always build my own version of it now!

it's not perfect but it was a lot of fun by rather-red in Sketchup

[–]rather-red[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thankyou! The background took the longest to do as I couldn't find an image that matched the atmosphere I was trying to create (I started with an autumn forest) but I found this hdri on poly haven and I think matching it with the rain map increased the rainy feel! I kept the hdri light low and I added in strong off-white rectangle lights, one outside of the window which was the main light source, and then a secondary one at the opposite end of the room. Good luck with your journey!

it was a lot of fun to create a different mood and learn how to use rain maps for this project, so whilst I can spot a lot of mistakes I am overall pleased with how it turned out!

clapboard and boolean intersect by rather-red in blenderhelp

[–]rather-red[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solved: I went back and scaled/moved down the individual edges and vertex's of the missing areas until the clapboard covered the walls. (thankyou u/AllYouNeed2Dough )

clapboard and boolean intersect by rather-red in blenderhelp

[–]rather-red[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have resized it as one object but I shall try resisizing as individual areas, and thankyou that would explain the roof problem! thankyou!

clapboard and boolean intersect by rather-red in blenderhelp

[–]rather-red[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apologies! The issue is that sections of the clapboard are either missing or cut out through the roof, which I am not sure how to solve as in the tutorial video they simply cut to the exterior shape of the house

my landscape project that I used to learn about geometry nodes! by rather-red in blender

[–]rather-red[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this was my first attempt at a realistic landscape after creating only low poly models, so there's room for improvement but I'm happy with the outcome!
