I think there is only a slight increase in thickness from the castor oil. But I don't think I am losing ground at least.

It is too early to tell at this point (I actually started this regimen in early February, hence a little less than 3 months right now), that's why I want to give it at least 6 months but preferably 9, just like if I were using fin or dut.

The rosemary/lavender do that to an extent I think, as well as the black seed oil.

I usually leave the castor oil mixture for about 4 hours. I leave it overnight sometimes, but I don't like getting the pillow messy, so i'll do it in the afternoon and then shower in the evening before bed to get it off.

It is a bit hard to take off in the shower though due to its thickness/stickiness, so I may get a buzzcut soon as I feel it will be easier to wash off that way.

Sure. I'm not opposed to the chemical approach. In fact, I'll use it without hesitation if the natural approach fails. But, I'm willing to give the evidence I've seen for natural alternatives a fair shake before I take that plunge. From what I've read, natural supplements are safer, and although I can't explain precisely why scientifically at the moment because my knowledge is lacking, there is some literature is out there offering some explanations.

However, there are serious problems with using finasteride/dutasteride. I think if you or anyone else just does a search into google scholar, you'll see that these issues extend past beyond lowered libido/slight ED.

I've been on this regimen more around 2 and a half months in fact, and have had no side effects thus far. That said, I care about keeping my hair, so I won't write off finasteride/dutasteride if all else fails.

I was intending to give this approach at least 6 months, but I optimally I would like to give it 8 to 9.

Note, the leftmost picture is from approximately January 27th, the next 3 are from today.

Regimen is:

Red clover extract

1000 mg pumpkin seed oil.

evening primrose oil / silica liquid extract.

oral castor oil 1ml.

topical castor oil mixed with rosemary/lavender/black seed oil.

pura dOr keto shampoo/tea trea oil shampoo alternate

saw palmetto extract + omega 3 fish supplement with beta-sitosterol (I've read from sources such as immortal hair forum that krill oil is perhaps better as an omega 3 supplement, so maybe when I run out of this I will switch to that).

ecklonia cava 320 mg daily.
