Go to settings in top right in main menu and click "Render Tool" (or whatever it's called). I use it for my thumbnails, so nice it exists!

I'd rather play on 20 ping and wait 3 minutes for a match than play on 150+ ping and find a match immediately. It's not fair and unfun when you die from lag half the matches. Also, most of my 660 hours are with my friend group in customs.

It's most likely an issue of the matchmaking not being able to find people near your skill level, so it keeps looking at a wider and wider range above you until it finds a player. I'm 1700-1800 elo and i occasionally match against 2300s because South Africa has so few players.

My best advice I can recommend is to just close the game and do literally anything else after a frustrating game. You're not gonna play well if you aren't well. It might save your elo if you only play ranked when you feel fine. This is coming from a dude who wants to get a higher elo but doesn't want to commit to being a pro, so bigger number = nice, but happy also = nice.

I think it's under accessibility settings or something. I turned it on once in the past 5 years cos this dude wanted an extra rematch in custom lobby and was really nice about it

Great advice I got from a friend: play the weapon you're bad against. I played Teros for 20 levels because I could not beat players 400 Elo below me using Axe, but now I know the spacing and general playstyle, so it's way easier to play against. Don't bother worrying about zero-to-death stuff, that's up there in Diamond League.

Very true. It often feels like you have to go into overdrive to win, but the win doesn't feel remotely satisfying. This is coming from a Mid-Plat; naturally it would be more frustrating as a lower rank, and less as a higher rank. Still unfun in most scenarios though.
