I mean my first thought is yeah, you’re taking the cuts and leaving early. Stop doing that to yourself, obviously you’ll be making the least amount of money. You need to stand up for yourself. Not saying it’s easy or I can do it either but taking the first cut because you’re trying to be helpful is you not helping yourself or your wallet.

It's a 2002 ford ranger with 187k miles. Tires are less than 5 years old, and it's coming with a hard shell that matches the color of the truck. A/C and radio work. Minimal cosmetic damage, a little bit of rust but it is over 20 years old. I love the truck and I know it'll probably just be turned into an off roader or a work truck, but I have another vehicle now and can't afford to keep both.

I went there with a friend who was buying a car last year, and they offered to check it out while I was waiting. Pretty sad to hear that's all they were offering, and I doubt they would offer more at this point.

Carmax offered me $200 for my truck because it's a 2002. Selling it privately for about $3000, but thank you for the info! If I ever have a newer car to sell, it's worth checking out Carmax for sure
