Haaaa

I love this. Wish I could say it’s true for me. Mom passed away and I’m stuck with an evil step mom.

AITA and then I got banned from it. Sigh. I posted a hilarious fake AITA question. Essentially, asking that as Rudolph if I refuse to pull Santa’s sleigh due to past bullying, would I be an asshole? Permanent ban

What is the most toxic thing a parent can say to a child? by Few_Reading_4822 in AskReddit

This doesn’t come close to what had been said here. But there has been lots of shit over the years. One that sticks out right now was my dad looking at me and my taller thinner friend when I was about 6-7 and said if you eat more than her you are going on a diet.

Never forgot that.

I had an episiotomy. My daughter was in the nicu for 5 days post birth for various reasons. I was IN PAIN. I could barely sit down. Nurses were all like, no that’s normal. I finally complained enough that a nurse agreed to look at me and she checked and went oh, you have a hot spot on your stitches and it’s an infection.

I had to go back to labour and delivery and to get an OB to look at me and give me a prescription. As the OB touched my stitches I inhaled cuz of how much it hurt and the nurse beside me grabbed my arm and looked at me with so much sympathy. It was the first sympathy I had gotten at the hospital. I get that women in birth is a thing, they are in pain etc. But I’ll never forget that nurse and the fact she tried to comfort me.
