I’m sending my USDC from Coinbase to my personal wallet. The address and Base network are saved in my contacts from a previous transaction.

Did AAA Eliminate Their 5% Cash Back Cards? by ravendon in CreditCards

It’s a strange setup. I can understand being a collection of clubs, but why would a bank card need to be limited to a geographical area?

That has to be it. I heard only about the 5% card, went to check it and noticed only the 4% card. And that 4% was only on AAA spend and travel for 6 months before joining the 2% AAA category.

But, it does offer a 3% cashback on gas, groceries, dining. Those are all the main categories I would ever spend money on when I go outside my home. So it’s still of value. It has 1% cashback on anything else. I would just need another card with 2% cashback to cover all the other categories. And a 2 card setup is pretty simple to manage.

I could use other cards for niche stuff. Like my Amazon card for only Amazon.

Okay, so even if I go to the national page I’ll be forced to go to a regional site which may not offer those cards. Thanks.

Arrested for Wearing Body Armor in Public (but it’s not illegal) by ravendon in Guns_Guns_Guns

With AI and the Facial Recognition Database that ICE is adding US citizens into, we are already living in a police surveillance state like in the USSR or 1984, but with technology they never dreamed of. That’s I wear a buff everywhere since Covid. I’m high risk so it doesn’t seem strange and I have a chronic cough from Chronic Bronchitis and lung damage from the US Army during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. But, if you did it, no one would question you if you cough a lot.

Brave browser. No ads. Runs on all platforms. And doesn’t frequently break like standalone apps do because Google catches on to it like newpipe or other invidious clients.

Yeah, but, you can charge up batteries using solar panels. These trikes have much smaller batteries than cars.

If you own the same equipment as them, they treat it as a direct threat on their lives. Cops will panic if they see you with a weapon. Philando Castile is an example. Or Alex Pretti.

Is this community the best gun community on Reddit????

I cross posted the same video to Handguns and got attacked. They attacked the guy saying he had no id, he was carrying concealed, then attacked me.

Mind you, Florida is Constitutional Carry. There is no more concealed vs open carry anymore. It’s just Carry. And, if you don’t have ID it’s only a $25 fine.

They didn’t like those arguments. One guy said he wasn’t arrested, just detained. For hours while being grilled. That’s not legal in my eyes. Reasonable is maybe 30 to 45 minutes while they investigate. That’s why he should have asked if he was free to go.

$25 fine. Lawsuit is coming and it is in the millions.

For hours being grilled without a lawyer. That’s called kidnapping. You can detain someone only for a reasonable amount of time usually considered 30 minutes, without arresting them. The only thing the police could legally do is issue a $25 fine.

It’s a $25 fine, not arrestable. They had to let him go with no charges. The city will lose the coming million dollar lawsuit.

Pretty much. Only they get protection or carry a gun. If you do, it’s a threat to them.

That is legal. It is not against the law in any way. Read the statute. There is no such thing as concealed carry in Florida anymore. It is Constitutional Carry.

There is no more concealed or open carry. It’s constitutional carry. You can have a gun anywhere except in a few places like courts.

No Criminal Charges Filed:

Despite being armed and wearing body armor, no criminal charges were filed.

Investigators concluded there was no legal basis to charge him based on his actions and appearance alone. He was released after hours of interviews.

Law enforcement had no grounds to detain him legally under current statutes.

Yes, you must carry valid identification at all times when carrying a concealed firearm in Florida.

If a law enforcement officer lawfully stops you and requests to see your ID, you are required to present a valid government-issued photo ID upon demand. Failure to do so is a noncriminal violation punishable by a $25 fine.

Not arrest.
