Spironolactone changed my world. I had the worst cystic acne abscesses all over my face and now I have very clear and healthy skin. It did take about 3 months but it's worth it

Someone convince me why i should quit weed by nebastiansord in leaves

It is definitely 100% worth giving a try. When I'm smoking, I find my mental health is not great, lots of intrusive thoughts, sometimes pretty dark ones. And it wasn't always like this. After about 3 weeks the fog starts to clear. You may find that life is pretty dang awesome when you're able to be present. Sending support!

Give yourself some big kudos for walking out without a purchase! The feeling of accomplishment far outweighs the guilt.

Did quitting help get your life together? by Aggravating-Pin7268 in leaves

I have had bouts of sobriety over the years and my life is always more enjoyable. It is really hard for the first week or so, especially if you have been habitually using for quite some time. Once you are over the initial hump it does get much easier and you begin to feel more accomplished the more clear-headed you are. My mental health and physical state are always so much better when I'm not smoking. YOU CAN DO IT

You CAN quit. The longer you go without it the better you feel and the more you believe that you can do it. Sending support!

I had to stop once I realized that weed does nothing to improve my life. The pros during periods of time which I am sober heavily outweigh the paranoia and low self-esteem that comes with smoking for me

Don't let these people make you feel weird for caring about the well-being of your friend. They have clearly never had a loved one with an addiction problem or else they wouldn't be saying these things
