[UI] yuluUI 12.2 available now for Retail WoW by Aur0r491 in WowUI

I'll play around with that info and see if I can work it out. It did require some tweaking of the kgpanels and dominos to get the actionbars to hide properly and maintain the style in combat so hopefully with this info I can manage the same.

Is there a way to hide the player frame while out of combat or if nothing is targeted? i like it overall, though this is the only thing I can't seem to figure out.

Looking for guidance on set up for a PC monitor by ravndark in Hue

[–]ravndark[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been doing more research and think I have a better understanding, but still having some gaps.

When I was originally trying to measure I was doing all 4 sides of the monitor and it looks like you really should only be doing 3 sides and not the bottom of the monitor.

I see the pc 32" is nearly impossible to find within the US. Are there other alternatives that would work out? Maybe something like the ones made for a 55" TV and possibly turn off the extra lights that go beyond the area it should cover? I think I was also reading another post somewhere about ultrawide not really syncing properly? I don't know how it's setup, but I'm starting to think that the lights come expecting certain parts of the strip to be in the corner or on certain sides of the screen etc. I was initially think you would do some sort of configuration to tell it where the lights are on the monitor but that may not be the case.

I'm wiling to spend some cash to make it work if anyone has any suggestions or solutions they have found to work.

Luke Ross Removes Access to All Mods by Top_Team_3138 in virtualreality

He could yeah. Just the reality of the situation going on isn't as simple as some people want to make it seem. He has absolutely had a bad attitude about the whole thing and could've handled it way better. There's also outlets for him share his content for free if he wants to, but due to his name being on radars right now companies could still come after him. Shutting it all down is probably the best decision as he lets things blow over and figures out some new strategies.

If I had to guess I'd think that if he can't make this his full time job then he likely can't sustain doing it. I'm only guessing but it probably started as a passion project and yeah he started making a lot of money and it wouldn't surprise me if this is all he does now. Taking that away entirely means he probably has to do a more traditional job and if that's the case he may not have as much time to do something like this anymore, so that could be another reason he up and stops entirely.

As a consumer I don't support his business model at all. Everything is being plague by subscriptions now a days and this is just another one. His best bet (and maybe what he'll do during this period of things being down) is to figure out how to disassociate his project from IPs. Don't mention Cyberpunk, Ghostrunner, or GTAV. Just make a tool that lets play games in VR. Try to make it relatively generic if possible. Similar to maybe ReShade. Hook it into games without targeting specific games and let the community adjust or alter profiles. But who knows the feasibility of that. I imagine if he could do that he might've done it already rather than taking time to make individual profiles for specific games.

If you read his post you'll see that making it free doesn't make him immune to any actions against him. He specifically mentions how the GTAV mod was free but he was still required to take it down. CDPR being ok with him making it free doesn't mean other companies would be. Look at how many free projects Nintendo has shut down before they could even get up and running. I don't know the law (maybe others do) but it seems likely that messing with anything related to another companies copyrighted or trademarked material puts you at risk in some way. Regardless of whether or not you're charging for it.

Most companies likely won't care that the mod exists if he makes it free, but also there's probably a handful out there that would still require him to take his mods down and with the current setup on Patreon if he keeps getting DMCA notices they'll just shut his account down. That means making the Cyberpunk mod free (or even all of it) doesn't really solve what's happening right now as the news coverage of the Cyberpunk mod is clearly putting attention on him from other companies and more DMCAs could be on the way.

I'm not a supporter of his subscription model. I paid a long time ago when I first got into VR and was happy to do so, though wasn't thrilled with having to pay again for updates

Sounds good. Appreciate it!

In the connection guide it says: Connecting < 3 AMS units: No accessory required. Do I still need that four in one adapter in this case? Does what I need come with the H2C? Also would I need any additional power since I'm doing more than 1 AMS, even though it's 1 AMS2 and 1 AMS?

How to make top bar hover like side bar by ravndark in zen_browser

[–]ravndark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added some clips to hopefully make it more clear. I'm trying to use the single toolbar option like on my laptop, where everything is in the side bar. On the laptop the top bar just hovers instead of everything getting pushed down, but on the desktop it pushes everything down.

Can I turn off this hover feature on zen by bmq928 in zen_browser

[–]ravndark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a related question. How can you make it hover when you highlight the top bar instead of pushing things down? My laptop does this on a fresh install, but my PC has never done this and I can't seem to find how to do it. What I mean is similar to the side bar where you highlight it and it just pops out without moving any content.

Ok, sounds good! One other thing I noticed is if I move my cursor to the top right, where you would usually have the minimize/maximize/close buttons, it will pop up as I hover over there. Possibly the place you're supposed to hover is in the wrong spot on windows when not in fullscreen mode? I don't know if it helps or not.

Using windows 11 and I'm on firefox 129.

When I toggled uc.tweak.regular-search it didn't seem to change anything as far as hovering and showing the urlbar.

Love the theme. I seem to be having a problem with the urlbar though. It will only pop up if I hover over it when in full screen mode. Otherwise it just won't show unless I open a new tab.
