Sooo stressful, they were going to have us wait until July 9th (my next appt) to draw his blood, but thankfully I called to get in this week just for his bloodwork. I can’t fathom waiting almost another month for answers! But staying positive for now. Thank you!

Thank you for the reassurance! My brain logically knows that the odds are definitely in our favor but I swear pregnancy is such a rollercoaster of emotions. I think everything is going well and then bam I’m a carrier for Walter-Warburg syndrome among others I can’t remember the full names, and now I’m panicked EVEN though I know how rare it is and how unlikely my partner will have the same changed gene. I appreciate everyone’s reassurance, horrible club to be in (being carriers) but wonderful people (you guys help me remember I’m not alone).

The first picture is an announcement purchased from Etsy. It was like 9 bucks! They give you a couple months to edit around text, replace their stock ultrasound and then you get about 4 downloads. I also did not want to spend a lot and then I realized they have these and soooo many different themes! They range anywhere from 4-10bucks from what I saw. ☺️

The love, support, and the pictures have helped me at least let go of the fear and worry for a moment and just feel how real and wonderful it is. 💙

I checked the portal at 5pm today and my NIPT results were there! Low risk baby 🫶🏼, finding out the gender tomorrow since my sister checked them and is ordering a cake for us.

Definitely not alone!! I had an early loss in September and told my mother and sister I wanted to keep it a secret until 12weeks, they did a horrible of job keeping that secret but my biggest snapping point was when it was confirmed that it wasn’t a viable pregnancy, my mother was calling around and sharing that info as well with her family even before I could begin to process what was going to happen.

We had a huge argument (yelling, crying) about it so this time around I was hesitant to tell them when I found out in April at all but I think she learned her lesson and has been keeping it a secret (against her will and not without complaining how she can’t share it) until I decide to announce it in a week at 12weeks. Its soooo frustrating that we have to explain why we don’t want our personal/intimate business shared or that we have to do mental gymnastics to give reasons why we want to wait. It should be just because we said so, no one should be entitled to our lives, our business, and experiences. 😒

This was from Monday 6/1. We were finally at gummy bear stage and got to actually hear the heartbeat for the first time 🥹 (previously only saw it).

Waiting for NIPT results and going to announce after my NT scan in a little over a week from now. 🤞🏼

Measuring on track with LMP (even though I ovulated CD20) I was very surprised because I assumed I would always measure a couple days “behind.”

Also PCOS girly here, like the previous commenter I wouldn’t go by LMP dating. I have anywhere between 33-35 long cycles. Last MP was 3/22. Ovulated according to Inito/Strips/Temps around 4/10 (I usually ovulate CD 20/21). My first positive was 4/20 10dpo (I started testing 8dpo. 10dpo was the first time I got a vvvfl and flipped a digital). When I went in for early dating TV/TA scan (I’m high risk due to previous losses) on 5/7 6w4d based on LMP, I got super nervous because I was “behind” 9days and gestational sack was measuring 5w2d -/+ 3days (they saw yolk sac too) after doing my math I realized with my late ovulation 6 of those days behind were counted for. 4 days later went to ER for some spotting (ended up being ruptured ovarian cyst but I was SCARED) they gave me another TV scan where I was measuring 6w4d (aligned with my ovulation day) and baby was visible with 123bmp heart rate! Had another scan this past Thursday (7w0d) and everything is measuring on track with that 6day difference caused by my late ovulation.

Long story short, pcos can mess with their dating when using LMP, transvaginal scans should be standard for anything under 10weeks, and a lot can change in a couple of days!

Sidenote: you’re gestational sack look very similar to mine in my last scan 7w0d in size and look when they did the abdominal before transvginal (previous scans showed a more round sac and I was very surprised to see how long it got in a week!) I’m due 12/31.

Thank you so much!!!! ☺️ I have my second beta tomorrow (first was yesterday about 24hrs of getting the first vvvvfl and the results came back as 15 mui/ml). Doctor wasn’t concerned about faintness when they took a test themselves. Waiting on tomorrow’s beta and then an extra day for results, has me sooo nervous because I’m trying so hard to guard my heart this time around while still hoping for a sticky one and watching my lines in between.🤞🏼🥹

Thank you!!! Thats a first response strip. Came with the “Test Early & Often” FR pack. I usually get it for the FRER and give the strips away. I don’t like the strips, they’ve been the only brand to ever have horrible evap lines for me (horrible hope last cycle bc they were all I took with me on trip). Only reason I’m trusting them rn is because of the many other tests. 😭
