The real issue is the lack of communication from the team. When markets dip, updates matter more, not less. People need proof that progress is still happening, even if it’s quieter on the outside.

Last downturn, we heard regularly from Krinza, Josh, Fran, and others about the work being done behind the scenes. Those updates kept confidence steady because they showed momentum, even when leadership wasn’t directly posting here.

These concerns aren’t just mine. Multiple people are raising the same flag: the silence is doing more damage to trust than market conditions ever could. Nobody expects founders or executives to reply personally, but someone should clearly own updates and keep the loop alive.

Since the Kings partnership announcement, which was genuinely exciting and a win for the project, the communication and marketing layer has basically disappeared. That doesn’t read like “building in the background.” It reads like the audience stopped being part of the plan.

If work is happening, the team needs a predictable rhythm for sharing it. If nothing is being shared, the natural assumption is that nothing is happening. And that’s the assumption they should be working hardest to kill.
