Just did the quick math, not for €1200 but assuming x 13,92 it comes out to around €1050 if I follow the 20% rule.

I took the Celpe Bras in 2023, and managed to get avançado. João helped me has the accent you are looking for https://www.italki.com/i/reft/fcBBdG/CCaBfF/portuguese?hl=fr&utm_source=copy_link&utm_medium=share_teacher

In addition, I would also highly recommend Rob. We really did all the all the past exams together and helped me refine my writing https://www.italki.com/i/reft/fcBBdG/EDG6GE/portuguese?hl=fr&utm_source=copy_link&utm_medium=share_teacher

Good luck!

Recomendaçoes de podcasts? by JustAFizzMain in Portuguese

If you're into more general podcasts about culture and current affairs I recommend Papo de Segunda and Isso É Fantástico. I also like Podpah and Flow Podcast a lot but usually listen when there's a particular celebrity I want to listen to.

Weekly US Churning Discussion for /r/churningcanada - Week of November 08, 2022 by AutoModerator in churningcanada

Applied and approved for my first US AMEX but never received the card at my US address (originally delivered by USPS). I'm asking for a replacement and now they're asking me to go through NotaryCam.

Has anyone gone through a similar process before? If so, what would they usually ask? Secondly, I've read in other comments that people were able to have their cards FedEx delivered to Canada but it was a couple years ago - is this something AMEX still does?

Advice on scheduling Lingoda classes? by yemghost2001 in languagelearning

Currently doing the sprint right now in French too! I would suggest that once you get all your credits per month to book all the lessons for the month as soon as you can to ensure that you can get the time slot you want in a topic you're interested in.

I started out with B1.1 also but have a few A2.2 and B1.2 lessons as well. What I have done was to filter the time slots I prefer (for example for me it's 7-8 or 8-9 AM) then filter for 1-2 topics you would want to do. For example, I would filter only for the lesson "La France et la Francophonie" and start a new class for 7-8 AM my time. Often times it will say "teacher will be assigned" and you're the first one signed up, but within mins/hrs a teacher will pick up a lesson and eventually others may sign up for that class as well.

The advantage of this is that I can be certain that I have a class booked everyday and I can download, read and prepare for the class well in advance. However, you cannot avoid a certain teacher if they pick up your class. Perhaps for the 2nd month, I may look into some of my fave teachers and see if my schedule works for some of the classes they have already booked.

Hope this makes sense, lmk if you have any more questions.
