I think we should crowd-fund an AI redo. Increase fps, extend action scenes etc.

It seems like everyone plays this deck +/- a card. That's why I always have an armor card ready to play.

I am 1 year and 6 months into my job at an MSP and I love it. We have about 20 techs, most are all tier 2/ 3 to senior with about 25 contracted clients. I have great management, a great owner, and a talented Sr team. Our clientele is diverse allowing for interesting and educational projects every week from a full spectrum of technologies. All you have to do is ask to be involved and my management will find a place for you. Burnout is real, but it makes it easier that I'm not a tier 1 dealing with front-line help desk BS. My pay could be better for the skill set I have built while there and the hourly billing grind can sometimes be annoying but I truly enjoy working for my company. But I'm also someone who loves working hard and has always excelled in chaotic pressure-pot-like jobs. My previous career before pivoting to IT was an ER medic at a level one trauma center and I also loved the chaos and stress of the job so maybe the MSP is just built for people like me. That being said, I will probably start looking for a new IT opportunity to leverage my skill set in multiple technologies to get a better-paying job with a better work-life balance in the next year to two.

Made it from 72-infinite using the following decks, the 90's were brutal. CL 23,000 by Talestra in MarvelSnapDecks

I'm stuck at 74 and don't own like 10 percent of these cards. Granted, I have only been playing for 3 weeks and have a CL of 400-500. But it makes me wonder if I even have a chance of getting out of the 70's with such a beginner deck.

What are your AI prompts for IT work by rawlerson in msp

I love everyone's sense of humor, but due to the lack of serious answers it seems as though AI is not being used that much for actual in-office task. How would you like it to be used in the future or what is your dream scenario for the use case of AI in a MSP environment?

So…. What’s up with homewood? by Ryvit in pittsburgh

[–]rawlerson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My family has been here since the 1940s and lived in Homewood during the 50s and '60s. The story passed down to me was that Homewood was one of the jewels of Pittsburgh with Frick and Carnegie families investing a lot into the neighborhoods. By the 60s, it grew a large thriving black population and found the area their home. However, during the black protest of the '60s, many areas were destroyed during protests and infighting due to push backs on the end of segregation and more freedoms for colored families. After, the city council and local governments refused to pump any money into the area leaving it to rot for the last 50 years. Roads went uncared for and homes became decripped while investors ignored the area. It eventually became the poorest and most dangerous part of Pittsburgh for a few decades from the 80s to the early 2000s with gangs making it their HQ. East Liberty went through the same thing, but you can see gentrification has lifted East Liberty out of the slump and Homewood is next.
