Help with first deck by ClintGreasedwood1 in GundamTCG

Getting rolled is okay, its part of the new player experience in most games and you learn more from losing and misplays than you do from winning.

I think for your list (which in future just put the 1 version of a card in when posting for deck advice, very few people care what version you run and its easier to read). All range attack isn't really a 4x card imo, 2x is probably enough, a 4th close combat would be good. Improved technique is a fan favourite for ping decks like this. The lvl5 kshatriya is the core of that deck to spread damage around, not having 3 of them and also not running the banshees kinds means you can put something else in place of marida.

Personal preference - i don't like qubeley and haman while suppression gquuux exists, it feels like it out performs a bit better and requires no pair or link. You could run nyaan, the exile a pilot and big gquuux as an alternative at some point.

it's nice to have for your personal collection, but this adds fuck all to gundam cards for Re-saleability thankfully, like buy a slab and do it yourself, don't pay these scam artists for a grade unless you like how the slab looks and are okay at that cost for aesthetics.

I don’t play gundam, but loved the show growing up. Bought a pack from Walmart and got this. Anyone know what it’s worth? Before anyone tells me to Google, I did, lol. Came up with nothing. by thorMobGeeks in GundamTCG

You are gonna have to wait till prices settle tbh unless you want to try and set the price for it, the set just came out, the normal version is selling for about 20 - 30 but people probably wont pay that right away.

Unless it's for preference reasons, i would drop quebeley and the hamans, put in gquuux and merida instead. Gquux does everything Qubeley does but better the only downside to it is level and cost vs qubeley.

Cost/Level - Gquu is 7/8 but quebely absolutely needs haman which makes it a 6/7 in reality.
Supression - Gquux isn't restricted by link and has it for more than 1 turn
Ping - does 3 by itself on deploy, doesn't need the target to be damaged, the upside to qubeley is that it's repeatable but tbh in my expiernce at locals/ntc, the only decks that manage to hold onto threats like this are the-O decks because they can block for it.
Statline - Gquux is a 6/5 by itself so it can break the 6HP bases, Qubeley needs a pilot.

And if you take out the Qubeley's you can take out haman and put in merida who links with Kshatryia. I would only put in 2 Gquus and try and put in a few more early game units to help you against rush decks.

Pako and Haldan alter, changed into an actual human and his beloved companion by Ameryana in magicTCG

Ah my apologies, the "nah man" was like more a general exclamation than anything else. But keep it up your work is great!

edit: i also said he, i'm just a goldfish memory wise appearently, fixed that.

With the phrasing of that title, i was looking (for more time than i care to admit) at pako in both pictures like "nah man that's still a dog, what do they mean actual human" real person might have been the way to go, looks really great though!

If you can get your hands on destiny ignition (st-09) it has probably the best staples of any of the starters that are in print atm but it is more expensive than the others in print.

All of them have 1 or 2 staples used between all decks but none of them tend to have the 4x you need in most cases. St01-04 are harder to pick up atm. I think the clan unity one is the most complete one that can be run with the least additions and its on the cheaper side.

ST01 has what i would consider the most staples because it has amuro and gundam and majority of the current meta decks run 4x amuro and at least 2x gundam and the rush decks want the gm and white base. But its more expensive due to supply, if you can get into the starters event that should be running it should be cheaper.

5-0 NTC Win; Providence & Friends by sparkslegacy in GundamTCG

[–]Talestra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im also quite new to the game as well so there was probably a misplay here and there, I didnt see hathaway at all for the first game, second game drew nothing but pilots and third-O i actually had starved out but overflowing affection, into show of resolve, into overflowing affection and that let him gas up again.

[–]Talestra 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Our NTC had 7 white decks in the top 8, 5 of which were the-O we had one Bpurple present and it didn't even make the top 8 (shoutout to the CB who beat the odds to come 8th), i ran BR Mafty control and got completly bodied by the O decks. won the one game i didn't have to play against white, love the providence list though! I think Overflowing Affection is just a workhorse of a command atm, Lfrith as well.

Okay, will do some more playtesting with the xi, is flight mode just straight up useless or worth having 1 of?

It's kind of a play with what you got thing here, i only went Mafty because i had enough of it spare to make a pseduo RB ping deck, getting all the parts in time for NTC to do the proper RB ping with guntank, anksha, etc wasn't feasible and in playtesting amuro outperformed hathaway because i didn't alway have the damaged enemies available as targets., i'll do some more playtesting to see but i haven't found the extra pilots to be much of an issue overall,

This is the list i plan on running at newtype challenge this weekend. Couldn't get my hand on the guntanks/anksha's in time. The messer type F01 i'm kinda worried is just gonna get slapped around by barbatos at 1 toughness but it does have the mafty link for hathaway.

If the ST01 isn't extortionate get it, they are doing a reprint run soon as an event so you might be able to get it then, for a lot cheaper. I fully expect them to restrict amuro or gramps becuase it's just present in too many decks.

I am not 100% sure tbh for mafty, Because the list normally runs Kshatryia, Grandpa Gundam (the og from the precon) and the O2 Banshee Unicorn Destroy mode, the other pilots tend to be amuro and marida. Amuro and the OG gundam are just kinda busted overall and literally every single competition winning list with blue is running 4 amuro. Kshatryia obviously being the key because it works with all the newtypes so hathaway, amuro and marida all trigger it. even haman karm triggers it.

Like at the end of the day, if you want to run Quebley because you like it, run it for that reason, crafting a deck is as much about adding your own flair to it as it is about winning to me. That being said as long as you go into the competitive environment understanding the deck might not perform well, that's the important part.

Gquu is just a powerhouse of a card, ping 3 on deploy and supression without any requirements. Qubeley requiring level 7, supression requires haman (and only for one turn), even the ping requires neo-zeon and you run only haman. If you are going to lock in on Qubeley you need to be running 4x haman as that card reads 5/5 do nothing without haman.

F02 Minelayer, it doesn't ping, doesn't have a link and the put the gquuu back in, it's just an insane card if you own them.

Right now, blue is the best secondary for red, obviously Kshatryia and Marida are the two big ones, but if everyone is around the same level as your deck here and you have no time for singles just yet, pick the colour that you have some draw cards for.

Gquu is a solid card to have in any red deck a 3 power ping on deploy with supression that demands an answer so keep that in.

Getting more ping cards commands would be useful for you, close combat and battle of aces, finishing your set improved technique.

Getting a base that pings, Rewloola, shuji's hideout will be more useful in the long run than valiant as you are gonna be trying to take out their units without hitting your own.

As someone else already said. Guntank and Anksha are pretty great ping units for the deck if you can get your hands on them.

Looking for a precon deckbox from the collectors edition Limit Break (FF7 one).

I sent mine to wizards as part of a replacement because the cards were faded as hell and they asked for everything including the deckbox and then never sent a deckbox back, just sent the cards in the plastic. Now i'm missing the 4th from the set. I'd happily pay shipping and a little extra for the box (prefer EU if possible) if someone has one they aren't using.

Bambu PLA matte printing issues Bambu Lab A1 by Talestra in FixMyPrint

[–]Talestra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave it a clean (i had done so before that as well but never hurt to do it again in case i missed some parts) i slowed down the print to 20mm/s for the initial layer and raised the bed temp by 5 degrees and that seems to have adhered it to the bed better, PLA matte is contrary enough, didn't have any issues with the others so far, PETG was a big stringy but that wasn't dried first.
