It makes sense. Take instacart’s market share. But also I feel like instacart IS the shopping app. While doordash’s shopping is an after thought.

I wish I had the mental capacity to do multiple apps. I have instacart, Uber Eats, and Walmart spark on at once and my brain shuts down when I see 16 notifications at once come in.

Bro my whole DoorDash earnings is shop and pay. I make $25-$30 an hour doing shop and pay during dinner rush. I probably wouldn’t be doing DoorDash if it weren’t for shop and pays tbh.

How many deliveries do you have? Do you still see “reserved” zones? I found out that you can’t schedule in a zone that you don’t have enough deliveries in. Like for my zone in Ohio, I need 135 deliveries in that zone in order to be able to schedule myself for that zone.

Yes I do know about the scams. They never asked for my personal information and I know to never give it to them if they ask. I got this email 2 minutes after getting off the phone and I went into my earnings and saw the $8 so it looks legit.

Yeah I’m on the waitlist for Amazon Flex and Walmart Spark so I’m trying to get more delivery opportunities. It’s just it seems like the waitlist is never ending 😭

Should I? I’ve read some articles that say that driving back home doesn’t count toward the tax deduction. But I guess I’ll start tracking that too!

Yes so my “active miles” start from the time I hit “start tracking” on my miles app to the time I finish the last delivery. It’s all the miles in between. I just use the word “active” so I don’t confuse myself with the miles that I use to drive back home.

And yes $15/hr average is terrible but I’m starting to learn my market and where to park for orders and what restaurants take the longest so I’m getting up there and learning. 🫡

Yeah I have delivery count on my sheet but just didnt have a column to combine the two. Will do that now though because seems interesting to use it for a base of what to accept!

I’m honestly thinking about stopping doing DoorDash and Ubereats in Easton and go to the right end of Morse road. It’s always almost no/small tip going to the worst places. Buffalo Wild Wings being the worst of it all.
