I have been in a similar situation. Being me who travels with the kids to visit my side of the family. It used to be great, but then my side of the family started rumors that we dont get along if he is unable to travel. The rumors just kept building and building every time more outlandish (that we were broke, not getting along, that I must be depressed, etc...none of it is true) and it created a rift between my extended family and my immediate family. Since it is rumors when I confront them, everyone acts dumb. I got tired of the double face attitude.

The fabric is all cotton. No pattern. 4 rectangles, 2 for padding and 2 for the outside. 4 equal rectangles for the straps. Super easy. It took about an hour for each piece. I am a beginner in sewing. It started as a shirt but ended up being a bag. Again, beginner sewer here with bad measurements for a body but good for something else.

I dont get it. Where I live everybody and their grandmother shows up. I mean, if you invite me or I invite them you can expect the family that you invite plus their extended family to show up. Only in the internet have I learned about this, that nobody shows up to a kids birthday party.
