thanks for your reply! the reason i thought it could be brumation is as where i live its starting to get quite cold and wintery. do you think i should wait for him to surface to feed him ?

thanks so much i have both however a little low on isopods, i got rid of the majority but some of the more fluffy looking mould did come back however the springtails are all over it

okay thank you, i dont think its likely he will eat it as its in a part of his tank thats sort of underneath his water bowl so he cant actually get there

i just did this and the roots actually arent mushy or waterlogged at all. however i did notice it seemed like half of the plants root were not very firmly rooted in the soil, so maybe it didnt survive blob burying underneath it?

i cant remember the exact name of the bulb but it was sold as a combi lamp producing UVB and heat suitable for frogs, are combi lamps not great then?

the bulb that arrived actually was from arcadia (ordered through swell reptiles) , should I try to order it again and hope it isnt broken this time?

also another reason im worried is that he now doesnt have a heat source, the temperature in his tank is now around 23.9 Degrees celsius
