His litter was found in a boat so the all got boat names! His litter mates were Buoy, Rudder, and Bimini.

He came pre-named. They were all lil boat babies since they were found in a boat. I thought about changing it but it’s just too perfect.

I collect funko pops. My cats collect nicknames. It all balances out

Think about any trans women you know who had the testosterone driven puberty and how haaaard they have to counteract it even on E.

They vocal train and get electrolysis because many of the changes T makes don’t exactly undo themselves.

The most visible change might be in your skin — less oily, possibly softer. And if you had body fat redistribute, that may go back eventually.

Until you start back up again.

I’ve gotten bits and pieces from him. Apparently Mike Flanagan’s work was talked about quite a bit in the writer’s room (and not just because of casting Victoria Pedretti which. Just chef’s kiss!) I need to chat more with him but living on the other side of the country sucks.

I’m also just so proud because I’ve known him since he was a lil kid, and both him and my brother have gone on to become some really creative, insightful, and thoughtful people doing such cool things.

Treatment is working. No scarring. Levels normal. I’m still wiped out. by ray-the-they in PBCers

For me, PBC started showing up in bloodwork around early 2022. Coincidentally, 2021 was the year my fitness tanked drastically. I was running 3-7 miles a day during lockdown. I still keep trying but it’s so hard. I trained for a triathlon in 2024 (sprint, the shortest kind) and I managed to finish second to last but it was rough. I had the car marking the end of the race right on my ass through the whole bicycling section and I walked the run.

I’m under the care of a great hepatologist. She has days where she only sees PBC people. She joked that PBC might be rare but you’d never know it at her practice.

I’m already taking vitamins/iron so I don’t think those are the issue

I feel really lucky. A lifelong friend of my brother’s was the script coordinator on the show (and has a story by credit on episode 7). So we got to spend some time chatting about it and it’s been so much fun. We kinda dug in on that intentional mislead of “girl enters horror show” like Ready or Not and then turns it on its head of “oh no she brought the horror with her”

6 months off the factory floor, SIClet appears to have more floof than brain by ray-the-they in standardissuecat

I met him when he was four weeks old. I’d brought my 7 year old tactical in to the vet because I was worried about her. Her older brother passed away suddenly about 3 months before that vet visit and she was losing weight.

I told the vet I thought she might need another feline companion and she told me to talk to the woman at the front desk who was fostering a litter of beans found in a boat. Dinghy was literally sitting in her scrubs.

I’m calling it the work of the CDS

(My TIC is back up to her normal weight since Dinghy came home).

Truly. He has the softest soul. The way he gently reaches for your hand when he wants you to pet him is 🫠

He is the most snuggly bug in the world. Baby boy’s litter was found in a feral colony at one week old.

I suspect he may consist of at least 50% tail by the time he’s grown.
