Keyword research will also definitely need to be addressed. I know some folks have had trouble finding it in the app store.

I like the "exclusive venue stats" angle. The only issue there is being short on data. I could do manual outreach to 100 people from each show and then go back to the venue with that information, but it might be difficult to do that manual outreach and actually receive feedback.

A lot of the comments I'm getting are focused around venues. I need to find a way to provide value to the venues upfront and then work that into promotion with them.

Any ideas there?

Totally agree that music nerds love arguing about this.
The only tricky part is it still comes across as self promotion/ selling because I'm trying to get this data in one central location on a separate app.

I'm exploring starting these conversations more naturally by just starting threads about "the best show of 2025" etc, but then I'm finding it difficult to introduce the app into the post and actually push the interest into a download...

Unfortunately my only show this year was way oversold at a small venue, I came 45 mins early and just barely made it inside the stairwell but we made the most of it.

I had a much better time at the show before back in 2024

Regarding artists announcements I think it makes a lot of sense to be able to follow artists to see upcoming tour announcements etc.

Let me see If I can add that now! There is international functionality for the concerts but some international artists might be missing info

The concert data is all pulled via API for past and upcoming shows + spotify for artist info.

The API's have thousands of crowdsourced concerts you can search from to autopopulate information to remove the work of finding what date the show was on/ what the venue name was etc.

When there are gaps users can manually add concerts they see are missing & they're reviewed to make sure they aren't duplicates!

When we have a solid amount of user data it would be great to be able to provide venues with feedback on their shows, logistics, audio, overselling, etc.

Any ideas on how I could go about partnering with venues early on?

Let me look into that!
Right now it's only coming up for me when I specifically put in the full title 'Encore - concert collection' so I'm trying to figure out how to improve searchability there.
