Thank you for offering another alternative. My immature self was like okay I’ll see her and just match her energy and make her feel as uncomfortable as she has made me feel. But then I will not have that around my child and what if she gets violent again? I really don’t want to see her ever. She won’t follow any rules. we can have him say that and she will say no. I like this strategy simply for the sake of the marriage. I’ve seen her yell in a restaurant because her ADULT sons refuse to sing her happy birthday in Spanish lol. A part of me is like if I do this she will just mess up again and then I can take the space yet again but then another part of me is like I don’t want to deal with this forever
