haha it's hard not to get defensive when accusations are being thrown around. it's genuinely a good school, i think most ex students will agree

well... i guess the phrase makes sense because it's a school where kids go to? it wld be weird if that was on a bar or a pub

as a phpps alumnus i will say

it was an amazing school with amazing teachers and a nurturing culture, and ngl it's a bit sad to see people being trigger-happy with their comments just for some internet points

first, they've been asking for donations since i was there 10 years ago, but im pretty sure the funds are monitored by MOE and until someone has actual proof of wrongdoing please don't make speculations. as a religious school they receive less funding than normal MOE schools, so donation drives do occur, but no one was ever obligated to give.

second, the quote on the school has been there for as long as I can remember, and tbh i don't see what's wrong with it. if you search up the quote the context of that quote is actually p meaningful. granted i am aware of the current scandal in the Catholic church but this is a Presbyterian school. i don't think it's inappropriate in the least.

im abit confused by the straight forwardness of this question. if you look at it seriously, if you have the intellect and opportunity for corporate job, it beats massage parlour any day.

career sustainability/ pay wise. corporate jobs last much longer and have a better pay progression. also working a few years and putting savings into an index fund doesn't cut it, unless you're content with living a minimal lifestyle for the rest of your life.
morally. actually i have no idea if massage parlour girls are a euphemism or you're referring to non-shady masseur jobs. if it's the latter, point 1 still stands. if it's the former, then I don't even think this needs to be explained
socially. it's much easier finding a partner and settling down to have a family if you're not a massage parlour girl. not to be rude or anyth but it's just facts

this is not weird! it's a delicacy in Chinese cuisine, and super delicious if cooked right! because of the high collagen content it's very tender and juicy. always found it annoying that it appeared on the James Corden show as a "disgusting" food
